Back by popular demand, this lunchtime concert of solos and duos offers an opportunity to hear some of this year’s festival musicians in an even more intimate set up. From Scarlatti’s Baroque brilliance to Sarasate’s Romantic flair, this program showcases Spain’s lasting influence on composers across Europe. With plenty of virtuosity on show, it’s a concert not to be missed.

Stamford International Music Festival 2025 May 15th-17th
Led by international violinist and festival director Freya Goldmark, SIMFestival is a vibrant annual celebration of chamber music, bringing together 14 exceptional musicians for an intimate and dynamic series of performances each May. Our 2025 festival embraces the Sounds of Spain, showcasing works by Bizet, Turina, de Falla, Boccherini and Granados alongside beloved masterpieces by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Bach and Haydn. With large ensemble pieces, solo recitals, a world premiere and a dedicated children’s concert, the festival offers a chance to hear some of the best chamber music performed in the historic town of Stamford.
