Founded in 1995, NYSO is one of the UK's most prestigious training orchestras for string players up to the age of 21, bringing together talented young players from across the country for residencies at Easter and summer.
Players benefit from outstanding personalised coaching from a dedicated team of leading chamber orchestra musicians. Working on challenging repertoire they unlock the potential in each player, developing their musicality and confidence as individuals and as members of a section.
