"Our Place, Our Art” is a project funded by South Kesteven District Council to create permanent public art pieces in Grantham, Bourne, Stamford, and the Deepings.
St. John’s Church in Stamford, is an important historical landmark and integral part of the fabric of the town.
As part of the “Our Place, Our Art” project, commissioned artist Imogen Joyce is organising a public exhibition at St. John’s, which will be open for visitors on the weekend 29th – 30th March. Via open call artists and creatives have been invited to submit pieces that celebrate Stamford and help tell the story of this town.
Visit St. John’s on the weekend 29th – 30th March to learn more about the church, the town and the communities that shape this place!
St. John’s is open daily from 10am – 5pm.
