
Join TV Gardener and local resident Nick Bailey for an entertaining evening packed with gardening inspiration and amusing anecdotes.
The event will focus on the best scented garden plants and how to grow them, coupled with tales from Nick’s life in gardening and the media. With a particular focus on achieving year-round scent in the garden both day and night Nick will introduce the best-scented cultivars of old favourites such as roses and sweet peas along with a wide range of more unusual species. Covering a broad spectrum of scents from parma violet to citrus to spicy vanilla, you are sure to discover plants and perfumes perfect for your plot. Along with gardening inspiration Nick will also share some of the secrets of TV Gardening and witty tales from his 35-year career as a gardener, garden designer, author and TV presenter.
