St Martin’s Singers, Stamford’s Choir of Women’s Voices, conducted by Fergus Black, present extracts from Handel’s Messiah including the Hallelujah chorus and other favourite arias and choruses.

St. Martin’s Singers, Stamford’s choir of women’s voices present a concert of Bach and Handel – choruses and arrangements by Bach in the first half, and in the second half a performance of “Best bits of Messiah” by George Frederick Handel – about an hour of the more famous arias and choruses, including And the glory of the Lord, O thou that tellest, He shall feed his flock. He was despised, I know that my Redeemer liveth and the Hallelujah Chorus.
Accompanied on the organ of St Mary’s by Nigel Stark, and conducted by Fergus Black.
