Celebrating Stamford 50th year as a conservation area 

In 1967 Stamford became the country's first conservation area. Why did this happen and why was it so important? The exibition aims to answers these questions and look at why conservation is still important today. An exhibition produced by Stamford Civic Society with pictures, stories and much interest for Stamfordians and visitors alike.
