Arts Awards and Artsmark Partner

We are proud to be an Artsmark partner!

Artsmark - Bringing learning to life through arts and culture!

The partnership programme is an Arts Council England endorsed network of arts and cultural organisations that can support education settings on their Artsmark journey to embed arts and culture across the curriculum.  If you are an Artsmark school please do get in contact with us.

Find out more about Artsmark here.

At Stamford Arts Centre we are able to support Arts Award candidates in a number of ways:

Our live seasons are packed with live theatre and dance, comedy, film, music and more that will aid you in completing the Audience Member part of your project with added benefits of discounted tickets.  It is also free to view any of the gallery exhibitions.

Take Part:
We have a variety of workshops in differing art forms that you can take part in.  Some workshops run regularly and others are one-offs so to keep updated with the workshops on offer it is best to pick up our brochure, visit our website or just give us a call to see what’s happening.
Meet Professionals:
Within the Arts Centre we have several professionals available to give you guidance and advice as well as talk about their role and how they got there.  It is advisable to contact us as soon as possible if you would like to speak to someone in particular to see if and when they are available, and also if you are unsure of who you want to speak to then we can point you in the right direction. We also have artists in residence and a resident theatre company.
As a receiving theatre, touring theatre and dance companies visit throughout the year - some even conduct pre-show workshops – so give us a call and we can try and arrange something for you, although this cannot always be guaranteed.
You can volunteer as an usher for theatre shows and films if you are over 16 years of age.
We have several spaces available within the Arts Centre which can be found on our website; however, you will need to contact us as soon as possible to discuss feasibility and the availability of space.
Research and Review:
If you think your Research and Review project is directly related to the Arts Centre then get in touch and we can see how we can we help you.
Please contact Jo Dobbs if you would like Stamford Arts Centre's help
